There are many benefits of virtual coaching! One of the biggest benefits is zero time required for commuting to and from sessions. This means sessions are easier to fit into your busy schedule. We also understand that it can be intimidating to try out a new provider. Virtual coaching eliminates some of that intimidation by meeting you where you are, within your comfort zone. Because sessions happen in the comfort of your home or workplace, you will also benefit from easier integration of coaching strategies into your day-to-day. Our top priority is getting to know you and virtual services help us meet you exactly as you are.
Personal training focuses solely on developing exercise plans that meet personal goals, often revolving around weight loss or body composition improvement. Our coaching provides a more holistic perspective, and we are body-positive so we focus on outcomes beyond weight loss. We can develop an exercise plan for you if that aligns with your personal goals, but our coaching will go beyond exercise to help you reframe your mindset and reinforce your support systems.
Outcomes will look different for everyone depending on individual goals but, in general, our coaching sessions are designed to increase your self-confidence.
We will help you gain confidence in your ability to nourish your body with movement, food, and nervous system regulation. We will examine all of these components with a lens on women's health and female hormones. You may find that our sessions help you: rebuild trust with your body, feel supported through change, understand the benefits of a holistic viewpoint.
We aim to help you feel more confident in your body. You may find that coaching: 1) improves your relationship with food and movement, 2) reduces stress and improves your ability to self-regulate emotions, 3) provides clarity around what supports female hormones, 4) generates self-compassion by renewing trust in your female body.

Yoga
You can expect to enjoy the benefits of yoga from the comfort of your home! Once you sign up you will receive a Zoom link that you will use to access the class. I focus on clear cueing to ensure you feel confident receiving class in a virtual setting. I also offer options throughout class to cater to different abilities.
Yoga classes take place on Zoom. All you need is a yoga mat or a towel. It may also be helpful to have some throw pillows nearby to help you relax into the restorative poses.
Yes! Virtual classes are perfect for beginners. Taking class in a virtual environment allows you to explore the poses in the privacy of your home without feeling pressure from the eyes of others.
As long as your injury/condition does not prevent you from getting up and down from the floor and you are able to hold up your bodyweight while on your hands and knees you should be able to take class. When you sign up for class there will be a brief questionnaire that will ask you to disclose any current injuries/conditions. If you have an injury that is not conducive to taking class, you will be contacted and refunded prior to class.
Yes! You don't need to be flexible to try yoga. Props like yoga blocks and pillows can be really helpful for finding alignment in a pose, and I will explain how to use those throughout class. And you don't need to purchase any special props to join-- everyday objects from your home can be very useful. I'll explain all of that once you join :)
