Setting up FAQs
There are many benefits of virtual coaching. One of the biggest benefits is zero time required for commuting to and from sessions. This means sessions are easier to fit into your busy schedule. Virtual coaching meets you where you are, within your comfort zone. Because sessions happen in the comfort of your home or workplace, you will also benefit from easier integration of coaching strategies into your day-to-day. Our top priority is getting to know the real you and virtual services help us meet you exactly as you are.
During onboarding, you will complete a questionnaire that will help us understand your needs. Our three-pillar approach (nourish, reframe, reinforce) provides a foundation for our time together, but coaching sessions will be personalized to your needs.
In general, our goal is to free you from a fixation on weight loss by giving you the tools to be the healthiest version of yourself while honoring your unique body type and lifestyle.
Personal training focuses solely on developing exercise plans, often revolving around goals related to weight loss or body composition. Our coaching provides a more holistic perspective. We can develop an exercise plan for you if that aligns with your personal needs, but our coaching will go beyond exercise to help you achieve long-lasting health on multiple levels (exercise, food, nervous system regulation, mindset, home environment, etc.)
Our coaching sessions are designed to end fixation on weight loss in favor of: improving strength, nourishing your body with nutrient- dense food, releasing stress through yoga and other nervous system regulation techniques, curating supportive home and work environments-- all of which can lead to long-lasting health that honors your unique body type and lifestyle.
We can provide all the tools for change within three sessions, but your outcomes will be determined based on your dedication to putting these tools into practice over the course of at least three months.
We recommend ongoing coaching sessions at least every other week during the first three months to provide ongoing accountability and adequate support for mindset shifts.
Outcomes may include:
increased muscle mass
improved metabolism
reduced fatigue
increased energy levels
increased stress resilience
We understand that pregnancy can be a challenging time for body image.
However, we do not specialize in prenatal or postnatal care. If you are currently pregnant, we recommend waiting at least three-months postpartum before beginning coaching sessions.
As an alternative, our virtual yoga classes are accessible while pregnant. :)
Yes! We understand that GLP-1 may be necessary for those battling chronic diseases.
We cannot provide medical advice regarding GLP-1, but the topics we cover during coaching-- increasing muscle mass, improving metabolic efficiency, reducing fatigue, increasing stress resilience-- complement GLP-1 medication.
